Dipping Into a Pool Project
In August 2019, Blender received a commission to paint a pool, at a pool! The piece was curated by Davey from Manningham Art Gallery, and funded by City of Manningham. With a brief to 'create a giant pool mural with water reflections', we worked with Blender artist Nikki who has an incredible ability to paint detailed realism.
The painting drew a lot of interest and engagement from the community during instillation, which is an indication of how art can inspire and bring people together. The mural can now be seen at Manningham Aquarena, and we think this was a great result!
