A new street art festival for regional Victoria!

This March, Blender Studios was proud to curate the inaugural Mali Heart Street Art Festival hosted by Birchip & Watchem. We were so grateful for the opportunity to work with the Buloke Shire Council, and the people of this rich community!

This event offered something for the whole family including live art, Augmented Reality of the iconic Mallee Bull by Blender alumni Asooraguy, creative workshops, plus music and great food. The fun-filled weekend came to a climax with the incredible reveal of new silo art by the legendary Adnate, not to be missed.

The festival featured large-scale works from street art royalty; Heesco, Kaff-Eine,

Doyle, Adnate, Maha, Hayden Dewar and even some of the local young artists working on a Colour-By-Number wall with Kasper! This tiny town was filled with colour when we left, and we would love to be able to do even more next year,

It was so rewarding to meet the new people of the town, work with some of our favourite artists, and bring life and colour to the towns of Birchip and Watchem, adding another star to the map of cultural must-sees of regional Victoria.

Keep your eyes peeled!

Thank you Mali Heart Street art Festival, and thanks for having us Birchip and Watchem!
