Blender Mask'uerade!
As 2020 came to a close, and with government giving us permission to get on the beers, we simply couldn't go past the opportunity to send the year off in style. After thinking about how to do this in light of mask-wearing the most obvious solutions was to make the masks part of the event.
And so it became...
The Blender Mask'uerade!
To celebrate Melbourne’s incredibly resilient creatives, we chose a date and opened the invitation to our annual exhibition event.
The Blender Xmas Show has become a tradition over the decades, and is a landmark event celebrating our shared successes with all of the Melbourne creative community. Today, the studio is home to 24+ artists practising across both street art and fine art mediums and genres. This was an opportunity to see what the artists have been working on through the year, and peer into the eclectic world t
hat is Blender.
We had an exciting line-up in store including live music as well as full open studios for the public to explore. This included:
GROUP EXHIBITION OF 24+ BLENDER ARTISTS
FULL OPEN STUDIOS
LIVE MUSIC
DRINKS SUPPORTED BY PIGEON LAGAR
The opening night and Mask'uerade was Dec 27th, and the exhibition ran until Jan 9th.
